unwanted gifts

how good is being given something which is totally inappropriate for you for about a hundred different reasons?

Either you can keep it and eventually your room fills up with unwanted stuff that you're never going to use and will sit there gathering dust until its completely unusable and you end up throwing it out. Or you take it and then try to find a way to politely get rid of it. Or you refuse it to their face and spend the next hour or so feeling like a terrible person for rejecting it and by extension them.

*sigh*

he tries, but every time he tries all he reveals is how little he understands me.

I think I know what you mean. My dad's version of parenting involves buying me clothes that I never ask for and wouldn't ever wear until I was 30+.
He keeps on buying me damn Polo Ralph Lauren shirts and if you've seen me around uni you know how often I wear those.

My mum's the same. And then she chucks a fit when I discard something that has sat in my closet for 3 years with me wearing it at most once. She actually remembers where it got bought, how much she paid for it and how many times I've worn it. =S

But yeah, I can see how often you wear Polo Ralph Lauren shirts.

Was he trying to give you WoW? Because WoW is appropriate for everyone.

Also, hello rcmasteraa! I have seen you not in mighty long time.
