harry potter

went to see harry potter yesternight. Overall i think it worked quite well - they had to cut out so much of the book but the story didn't really feel any weaker for all that. And i'm kinda disappointed that there wasn't more Rita Skeeter, and that they changed Harry's fight against the dragon to make it needlessly more dramatic than it already was instead of possibly fleshing out some other part of the story. Oh and the female characters don't seem to be coming across as strong as they do in the book - boo to them for pandering to stupid gender expectations.

Oh well, onto packing for holiday, saying goodbye to my beloved intarweb for a week, and so forth.
