So, my grandmother has semi-decided she isn't dying after all. Who knows..

I love my local library. Today I took out about 6 books, an eclectic mix ranging from the Epic of Gilgamesh and Jungian psychology to fantasy novels. I can't believe I neglected it for so long.. *sniff*

Today I got change from $4 with the oldest 50c piece I've ever seen. It's round and made from a different alloy to the rest of the silver coins we have these days. I openly checked it in front of the clerk to make sure it was real since it looked ultra-dodgy, but it seems legit and is from 1966. Cool stuff.

I got to see the Harvard Krokodiloes last night. I have no words to describe how awesome they were, they had both the singing and the choreography down pat. Afterwards we went to dinner at Rossini's at Circular Quay, which was... ok.. not as good as I expected for the price I guess.

I can only write poetry when I'm miserable. Although the results this time weren't what I would call a finished product, I guess my misery wasn't strong enough to propel it to a good ending :p
