Ah, yet another reason to decry it for being unoriginal!

Still it's rather sad that this book then comes off as an attempt to combine Tolkein with a very bad allegory of the Bible.

/me waits for the protagonist to have an epiphany from a divine fire, or to rise from the dead after beign martyred
