wow, i just got treated to about half an hour of The Mentee From Hell (TMFH), and now my desire to do anything other than bitch about him is completely gone. So much for getting work done :p

Or how about i talk about my awesome weekend instead.

On Saturday night I had a craving for chocolate so I roped Zhe and Iva into going to the city with me to visit the Lindt store. Unfortunately for us, the Lindt store was closed since it was a Sunday, so instead we ended up heading to Chinatown to eat pho at a Vietnamese restaurant. I'd never had pho before so this was a somewhat new experience for me. And lo, it tasted good, and we were satiated. Then we headed to market city and there was a sale on the floor of jeans and books. Zhe wanted to try on some jeans but couldn't find any in his size on the men's side of the table, so the woman selling the jeans tried to get him to try some on anyway..

woman: we have jeans that will fit you!
zhe: I don't think so, i'm a size 28
woman: we have 30, i'm sure that will fit you. What size are the jeans you are wearing now?
zhe: 28
woman: hmmm.... show me your body!

Iva tried on some of their jeans but couldn't find any that fit properly. While she was doing that, i wandered over to the book sale and found The Book of Answers. This awesome book can answer any yes/no type question simply by opening it at an appropriate spot and reading the answer contained therein. For example, we asked it whether Iva would be able to find jeans at the sale. The book's answer: make a list of reasons why not. Later we asked it whether we should buy it, and its answer was: wait for a better offer. Sure enough, the woman there was willing to sell it to us for a reduced price :p The book knows, man. It knows.

The rest of the day consisted of visiting Hein in Jayjays, trying to find jeans for us all, trying on way too many pieces of clothing in general. And of course the usual conversation ranging from bitching about various people at uni to deciding what we wanted the job of our prospective spouses to be
