Dec. 24th, 2005 09:47 pmI just got some hotmail spam from someone by the name of "noob poo". This amuses me.
There was a partay at Dave's place on Thursday and Friday. A couple of memorable quotes: "suck the cream out!" and "just get on the bed and fuck!". Also, i got nice and burnt on Friday morning when Lachie Dave and i all decided to walk up to Long Reef lookout while we were waiting for Ali to come pick us up. Dave and Lachie got nice and burnt too :p
I saw the bf today. A couple of things came up: If you could choose your gender in your next life what would you choose? The bf chose female. I chose male, although the reason i gave was kinda lame: Cos i'm halfway there already in temperament :p In all honesty.. i dunno. The physical aspects balance out fairly well i think (bleeding once a month compared to erections at inappropriate times) So that just leaves the mental/social stuff. Women have to struggle against a lot of discrimination and chauvinism eg men still get higher paying jobs. Women tend to take the passive role in a relationship - this could be considered either a good or a bad thing really, depends on the personality. Women have more and better fashion options but they also have a lot more expectations on them in the looks department. Women get to have the babies - again, kinda a mixed blessing.
So, my reasons for choosing male in order of importance:
1) Just to find out what its like from the other side :) (in the non-dirty sense :p)
2) To experience the feeling of looks *actually* not mattering so much in all social interactions
3) So i can pee standing up and walk around shirtless. lol. Sometimes its the little things that make the most difference.
at some point in the last few days, and then also today with the bf, i was reflecting on why it is that most of the guys i'm friends with are the girly types, and why i and my female friends are more masculine types. The main theory for us girls being the manly types is that computer science et al attracts girls who are much more analytical.. which is traditionally a male trait, so it makes sense that all the girls are more male than your average girl. But for the guys? No idea :p Feel free to advance theories on why this is so.
ahh i just found this in some other random webthing, They're meant to be t shirt slogans. So lame... but i'm nerdy enough to have actually chuckled at the last one i gotta admit *is embarrassed*
