Finally, a real update
Jun. 5th, 2006 02:11 amhmm.. i haven't really updated in a while. The mood just hasn't been on me i guess. So what have I been up to lately?
1) Mystery Shopping. It's done wonders for my assertiveness, and while the pay isn't great its not bad for the amount of work you do for it.
2) Saw X-Men 3 the other day with the gang. Despite there being almost infinite flaws in it it was still quite enjoyable. After the movie we went to Golden Unicorn in Maroubra for dinner and traded the usual insults. It was also interesting having another event that all three Jens attended. We really do need to find a better way to distinguish between us.
3) Went to watch Hein and Ali singing about Elinor Rumming, dead sparrows, and Hoyda. Overall was very pretty :) Checked out the new pizza place next to the Rege afterwards. They cover the tables in white butcher's paper and have coloured crayons at each table so guess what we were doing the whole night. Certain ppl who shall not be named have decided to try to lose weight the stupid way. Those ppl need to be tied down and force fed a thickshake from macdonalds.
4) Online quizzes. I haven't been posting any of my results but yes I've been doing them all like crazy as well. If anyone cares, I'm an INTP, I should date an italian and my inner rock chick is Gwen Stefani. wtf.
5) Jenny lent me this shoujo manga called Mars. It's awesome, and really brings home to me why some girls are addicted to reading romance novels. It's got so many sweet moments where you just want to go awwwwwwwwwwww. I read the whole lot in under 24 hours and am now reading them again before I give them back to her.
And i have a couple of really long posts coming up one of these days, when and if I can be bothered articulating myself well enough to write them down formally. Once again I doubt anyone but me will really care since they are of the philosophical/religious variety.
Tomorrow is the Microsoft seminar which I'm helping Alex out with, after that I need to get cracking and work on my assignments. I need to go visit my linguistics tutor about essay topics, borrow someone's previous algos assignment and read up on AI. All very fascinating stuff.
I feel like I've been a bit down lately. bleh oh well, not much I can do about that except try to not let it lash out and affect other people
