It's not easy being yellow

There's a guy behind me in the lab speaking Mandarin. Now, as someone who was never exposed to to Asians until I was 18 almost all Asian languages sound like random noise to me, but Mando most of all. Furthermore, he has this really weird voice.

So listening to him speak reminds me uncannily of Kermit the Frog gargling
